National Scholarship Scheme Central Government
- The National Scholarship Portal is managed by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.
This portal was started in order to provide scholarships and fellowships to the students who are studying in Schools & Colleges and who have secured a minimum 80% percentile rank in 12th Std and have taken admission in the first year of college.
- There are certain conditions and criteria that a student or candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for the scholarships.
Condition-1:- Candidate must have passed in 12th standard with a minimum 80% percentile rank.
Condition-2:- Scheme for which college students are eligible are the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for college and university students.
Condition-3:- It is only available at the College level.
Condition-4:- The Scholarship amount will be credited on the basis of merit.
Condition-5:- There is an income restriction of 6,00,000/- per annum.
How Much Scholarship amount will be credited??
- If the student is possessing graduation he/she will get an amount of 10000/- as a part of the scholarship.
- If the student is possessing postgraduation he/she will get an amount of 20000/- as a part of the scholarship.
Scholarship for Minority quota(Muslims, Jains, Sikhs, Parsi's, Baudh's, Christians)
Conditions To Apply:-
Condition-1:- Only Minority Community are eligible for this MOMA Scholarship Scheme.
Condition-2:- There are no income restrictions for the minority community.
Condition-3:- They must possess their certificate of minority (Caste Certificate).
How much Scholarship amount will be credited?
- If the student is a hosteller he/she will get 1000/- per month.
- If the student is Day Scholar he/she will get 500/- per month.
